Bert Jeffrey Oval Change Rooms facilities
This project is located within City of Melville vicinity at Murdoch and was an addition to existing oval that accommodates various sporting activities both during summer and winter. The facility includes new change rooms, kitchen, showers, toilets including separate disabled toilet facilities. More Photos
Lake Monger Community shed project
Lake Monger Community shed project is located with suburb of Wembley next to Lake Monger. The project comprises of approx. 500 m2 of built-up area with kitchen office and toilet facilities. Town of Cambridge owns and managed this project during construction with Peter Hunt Architects. More Photos
PCYC — Community Building Refurbishment, Rockingham
This government-owned building accommodates approximately 500 people and contain offices, committee rooms, commercial kitchen, toilets, and recreational sports areas.
Candor Contractors Pty Ltd were involved in demolition of certain sections, and then refurbishment of the premises with our inhouse team and subcontractors, duties spanning but not limited to electrical, plumbing, roofing, mechanical, tiling and painting.
Residential refurbishment, Booragoon
A Booragoon residential dwelling, this private property had extensive termite issues, resulting in damage to the roof, kitchen, and other areas that needed to be addressed.
Candor Contractors worked closely with the client to fully remediate the pest issues. Refurbishment of the property reached near new condition by the completion of the project.
Residential Refurbishment, Ascot
A private residential dwelling located in Ascot on which the Candor Contractor’s team worked with the client’s nominated architect to deliver the perfect result.
The project included internal and external refurbishment of the residential property, spanning the addition of rooms to the house, as well as landscape works.
Cummins Workshop Refurbishment, Perth Airport
Located within the Airport authority zone occupied by Cummins, this multi-pronged commercial refurbishment project spanned office and workshops within the same building.
Sleek yet functional, the scope of work included upgrade of existing pump room to build new toilets, upgrade of miscellaneous other rooms (i.e. first aid space), workshop maintenance rooms, and upgrades to certain areas of existing male toilets. More Photos
Upgrade Works — Tyre Recycling Facility, Welshpool
Refurbishment project in the Welshpool area, managed by a private client. The Candor team provided new, confidential innovative equipment/plant installation for the purpose of converting vehicle rubber tyres to carbon, steel, fuel, and other products.
The industrial contract involved installation of structural steel framing for recycling plant, kiln, shredders, and various equipment within small tolerance limits. Appropriate lifting procedures were used on varied weights ranging from 2 to 20T. Miscellaneous scope included removal and reinstallation of roof sheets, purlins, security systems, and electrical works.
Design and Construct — Woodbridge Park Amenities Building, City of Swan
City of Swan provided Candor Contractors the opportunity to contribute innovative design and construction works. The new, disability access friendly toilet building and changing facility is primarily for public use, including aged personnel.
Ceiling hoists, changing tables, and showers etc. are designed and installed in the building to maintain natural aesthetic finish.
Remedial works at Wellington Street, East Perth
A high-rise residential building containing 64 units, the project site is located in East Perth.
The building had water leak issues in an external tiled area. Candor Contractors were engaged by a private client to remediate the external area, ensuring quality waterproofing by completion. More Photos
Office Refurbishment (3 storey) at Ventnor Avenue, West Perth
This striking project is owned by a private client, and located within the Perth city zone.
The scope consists of external and internal refurbishment works to an existing commercial building, including upgrade awnings, front entry lobby, entry facade, toilets, and common areas.
Located within the Perth city zone, and owned by a private client living overseas, we worked with the client representative and architect to ensure the commercial property appeals to today’s rental market. More Photos
Aged Care Training Facility, Tafe Rockingham
Candor Contractors were involved in the refurbishment of an existing classroom, and the conversion into a new aged care and disability care training facility. We worked closely with the architects to ensure the project meets AS 1428 standards.
The facility is located in a high foot traffic area, with neighbouring live classrooms. Works involved demolition of internal walls, and refurbishing part of the F block with new walls, wall coverings, ceilings, floor coverings, cabinets, ceiling hoist system, and supply and install of services to meet Australian standards relating to access and compliance requirements for aged care facilities.
